Logistics is an essential part of our everyday life. Dispatchers at small and mid-sized logistics companies are at the heart of managing an uninterrupted global flow of goods across different stakeholders in an increasingly difficult environment.

Our goal is to provide tools that help streamline communication in logistics.

Heylog offers a Software-as-a-Service solution that enables dispatchers to communicate reliably on WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Viber and – soon – more channels that are already used and preferred by many stakeholders along the supply chain.

Heylog was founded in early 2022 and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria with experienced investors from the logistics industry. We offer a remote-friendly work environment, allowing a great degree of flexibility. Our working languages are German and English.

Tasks

We are looking for a skilled fullstack developer to join a company at its early stage. Fullstack developers at Heylog are responsible for conceptualising and developing both frontend and backend web architecture alongside our product team.

Your Responsibilities

  • Working in a cloud-native environment on backend requirements from conception to finished product alongside our product team to meet both technical and consumer needs
  • Designing and developing APIs for private and public usage
  • Staying up to date on developments in web applications and programming languages
  • Supporting junior developers
Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience with HTML, (S)CSS and JS
  • 3+ years of experience with React and nodeJS
  • 2+ years of experience with TypeScript
  • Experience with Styled Components and NestJS
  • Experience with building APIs, serverless functions and integrations with 3rd party apps and external APIs
  • Experience with PostgreSQL databases
  • Experience with GCP and tools such as Notion, GitHub, Jira/Confluence
  • Experience with NX or other monorepo tools
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Strong focus on code quality and clean software architecture
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

The gross annual salary for this position starts at €50,000. Depending on qualifications, experience and personal commitment, we are willing to adjust the gross annual salary accordingly. We will be happy to explain the details in a personal meeting.
